Before Your Repair
Please review the following instructions before dropping off or shipping your device. Bringing only the items we need helps protect your accessories and makes the repair process easier.
Back Up Your Data
Before sending or dropping off your device, we strongly recommend backing up all important data.
Although we take care when handling every device, data loss can occur during diagnostics or repair. Therefore, Trilex Fix cannot guarantee the preservation of data unless a specific data recovery service has been arranged.
Modern Video Game Systems
For most modern game consoles and handheld gaming systems, we only need the device itself.
Please do not include:
- Game cartridges
- Discs
- Memory cards or SD cards
- Controllers
- HDMI or other unnecessary cables
However, there are a few exceptions.
Please include the related accessory if your repair involves:
- A power or charging problem that may involve your power supply
- A specific game that causes the problem
- A disc-reading problem
- A controller that will not connect or sync
- A storage device related to the reported issue
When in doubt, contact us before sending additional accessories.
Windows & Other Non-Apple Laptops
If you are bringing or shipping a Windows laptop or another non-Apple computer, please include its power adapter.
The charger may be necessary to reproduce charging, power, battery, or performance problems.
Retro Game Consoles
For retro gaming systems that are approximately 10 years old or older, please include the accessories needed to operate and test the system.
Depending on the console, this may include:
- Power supply
- Video or AV cables
- At least one controller
- A compatible game or cartridge
These accessories can be important because older consoles may use proprietary power supplies, cables, controllers, or video connections.

Booking is simple:
- Enter your full name and email address.
- Select your preferred location.
- Choose an available date and time.
- Submit your appointment request.
Once your appointment is booked, you will receive a confirmation with the appointment details.
