The path of least resistance.
iPhone data recovery involves specific considerations compared to other repairs. Here’s how we handle iPhone data recovery
to include:
- Assessment for Data Recovery:
If your iPhone won’t power on, we first assess whether data recovery is necessary or if a full repair is possible. We only offer warranties on repairs we believe are reliable. Recovery is customized based on the device’s condition. - Evaluating Damage:
The extent of the damage is crucial in determining whether data recovery is the only viable solution. Devices with severe issues may be declared “No Fix,” and data recovery will be required. We’ll inform you about the risks and limitations associated with recovery. - Restoration vs. Data Recovery:
We assess whether restoring the device is feasible or if only data recovery is appropriate. Please note that while we aim to return a functional phone, data recovery doesn’t guarantee long-term device performance. - Data Recovery Process:
For data recovery, we require both the damaged phone and the phone for data transfer. If the transfer device isn’t provided, an additional fee may apply.

Chip Transfer
Our specialized data recovery service addresses logic boards with catastrophic damage, such as those severely impacted (e.g., run over by a lawnmower or bent in half in a car door) while leaving the data-containing chips intact. We facilitate data acquisition by transferring the CPU, SDRAM, NAND, and EEPROM to a compatible receiver board of the same model, and for certain models, you may need to provide a working receiver board. To ensure a smooth process, please describe your device accurately on the initial contact form to avoid any surprises upon arrival, and your estimate email will outline any additional requirements we may need from you.
