// ORIGINAL REPORTED CONDITION

The customer reported that the ROG Ally X had been operating normally before suddenly refusing to power on. An Embedded Controller reset could cause the power indicator to briefly blink white, and holding the power button while connected to a charger could produce an orange charging indicator, but the system would still not boot.

The M.2 SSD had previously been upgraded and had been operating normally. The battery had also been disconnected and reconnected during troubleshooting prior to the device arriving for repair.
