Repair Services Terms and Conditions
By submitting your device for repair services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Collection and Recycling
- Device Collection: You must collect your device within 75 days of repair completion to avoid recycling.
- Mechanics Lien Law: We will retain your device and any accessories until all charges are paid or until 75 days have passed since the completion of the repair or a “No Fix” determination.
2. Authorization and Risks
- Authorization for Repairs: By submitting your device, you authorize us to perform the necessary repairs.
- Inherent Repair Risks: Please be aware that repairs involve inherent risks, including potential damage to delicate components.
3. Payment
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Cash, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, and Klarna.
- Payment Terms: Your device will be held until full payment is made, unless a payment plan has been approved in advance.
4. Estimates and Fees
- Estimate Adjustments: We may adjust the initial repair estimate. If the estimate exceeds the original by more than 49%, we will notify you.
- Storage Fees: If you do not collect your device within 30 days of the repair completion, a $1 per day storage fee will apply.
- Repair Attempt Fees: Fees ranging from $40-$150 may apply for unsuccessful repair attempts that require diagnosis. In the event of an unsuccessful repair attempt, we may provide you with information to continue the repair on your own if feasible.
- Assessment Before Repairs: Work will only commence after we assess the issue and receive information about how the problem started. If no assessment is provided, we will hold the device for up to 30 days before charging a $1 per day storage fee.
- No Fix Fee: A minimum $10 No Fix fee will apply for devices shipped to us or in-house devices that cannot be fixed.
5. Responsibility and Liability
- Cosmetic Damage: We do not accept liability for any pre-existing or new cosmetic damage occurring during the repair.
- Data Loss: You are responsible for backing up your data. We are not liable for data loss.
- Liability Cap: Our liability is limited to the total fee for services rendered.
- Damaged Parts: We are not obligated to return parts that are damaged beyond repair, including broken housings, faulty chargers, or damaged LCD screens.
6. Device Return and Warranty
- Mid-Repair Return: Devices are not returned mid-repair unless specific conditions are met. Non-refundable deposits for special-order parts will not be returned until the repair is completed.
- Warranty Coverage:
- 90 Days: LCD screen, hard disk, and memory replacements.
- 30 Days: All other repairs.
7. Refunds
- Unopened/Undiagnosed Devices: Full refunds apply if the device was never opened or fully diagnosed.
- Warranty Refunds: Partial refunds minus diagnostic fees if the device cannot be fixed under warranty.
- Deposit Refunds for Missing Parts: Refund minus diagnostic fees for unavailable special-order parts.
- Upfront Fees for Opened Devices: Minimum $50 upfront fee applies to previously opened devices, waived if the repair is completed successfully.
8. Customer Conduct
We may refuse service to rude or disruptive customers. Customers are responsible for return shipping fees in such cases.
9. Deposits and Repair Opt-Out
- Deposits: 50% non-refundable deposit required for special-order parts.
- Repair Opt-Out: If the repair exceeds the approved estimate, you may opt out. Delayed decisions beyond 30 days incur $1/day storage fees.
10. Shipping and Uncommon Repairs
- Lost Packages: We are not liable for lost packages but assist in filing insurance claims.

- Uncommon Devices: We may have limitations regarding non-standard or uncommon devices. Contact us before sending these items.
- Non-Standard PCB Board Repairs: Specialized rates may apply for non-standard PCB boards. Testing will be performed if feasible; otherwise, full repair fees apply.
11. Rush Orders
Rush orders are expedited based on normal repair time, but data recovery and liquid damage repairs may take longer. Rush fees will be waived if deadlines are not met.
12. Device Return Policy
Devices are only returned to the person who dropped them off or someone with the ticket number.
13. Intellectual Property
Service content and features remain the exclusive property of TrĂlex Fix Repair Group LLC.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate service immediately for breaches. Certain provisions, like warranty disclaimers, liability limits, and ownership rights, remain in effect post-termination.
15. Limited Repair Agreement
For devices that cannot be fully tested or are partially disassembled, a Limited Repair Agreement applies. Refer to the Limited Repair Agreement for details.
16. Governing Law and Changes
- Governing Law: These Terms are governed by U.S. law.
- Changes to Terms: We may update Terms with 30 days’ notice. Continued use indicates acceptance of updated Terms.
17. Acceptance
All Terms apply once we receive the device or payment.
