🚚 Trílex Fix – Shipping Terms & Insurance Coverage

At Trílex Fix, your device’s safety during transit is our priority. By sending your device for repair, you agree to our Repair Services Terms and Conditions. This page summarizes the key shipping and insurance policies to ensure clarity and protection for both you and us.



📦 Shipping Terms

  • Device Submission: Mail-in devices must be securely packaged to prevent damage. Use original packaging or a sturdy box with padding (bubble wrap, foam, etc.). Contact us before sending unusual or non-standard devices.
  • Possession & Retention: We retain your device until repairs are completed and all applicable fees (diagnostic, disassembly, cancellation, or repair) are paid in full. Requests to return a device mid-repair may incur a disassembly or cancellation fee.
  • Device Collection: Devices must be collected within 75 days of repair completion unless otherwise agreed. Uncollected devices will be recycled according to the Mechanics Lien Law.
  • Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for shipping to Trílex Fix. Shipping back to you may be included in certain repairs or offered at an additional cost.


🛡 Insurance Coverage

We strongly recommend adding insurance when shipping your device. This protects against loss or damage during transit.

  • Coverage Declaration: Declare the full value of your device(s) for insurance purposes.
  • Insurance Limits: Coverage is subject to the carrier’s terms and up to the declared value.
  • Exclusions: Cosmetic damage, pre-existing damage, or damages caused by improper packaging may not be covered.

Important Notes:

  • Trílex Fix assists with filing insurance claims, but carriers determine claim approval.
  • For high-value or rare devices (retro consoles, limited editions), additional insurance is recommended.
  • Ensure devices are backed up, as we are not responsible for lost data during transit.


⚠️ Responsibilities & Risks

  • Repairs carry inherent risks; delicate components may sustain damage despite careful handling.
  • Devices may not power on or function after disassembly due to hidden damage or fragile components. In such cases, only diagnostic or repair attempt fees apply.
  • Trílex Fix is not responsible for cosmetic damage or unapproved accessories shipped with your device.
